The Star Party for April 2009 was a great success. About 40 members and guests attended. Larry Behers P.M. provided the large telescope array and Hector Monroy brought his own telescope for all to use. First came the feast. grilled hamburgers and hotdogs prepared by Aaron's very own Chef Brian Johnson P.M. and his wife. The food was great.
Then came the stars. Larry Behers P.M. and Joe Leininger P.M. had everything set and aided all at a great view of the cosmos. The telescope array was very impressive. The largest telescope was larger than a SmartCar. All had a great time, it was hard to tell the adults from the kids, that's how fun it was.
There was a few events of strange phenomena like the appearance of a daylight full moon courtesy of Craig Ruenger's new haircut (Sorry Craig) and Joe and Larry had experiences but you need to see the pictures below. This event left you anticipating the next one.
